A splended evening spent at home just the 4 of us! ♥
On the Saturday the 10th M had a b-day party to go to so A and I took K out to Taco Patio for lunch. He was very happy to get his Burrito! Then that evening we went to the Zoo lights.

More Fall Fun
We don't really make a big ta-do of Halloween. We do dress up (which we do on most day's) and we go to our families houses and get treats from them. Our favorite thing is to go to the Open House/Fall Festival at the Fire Dept, Police Station & Library. They have food and games and tours of the facilities. Just a fun community event.

Pumpkin Patch
Apple Picking
On October 7 we headed to The Apple Barn Orchard and Winery in Elkhorn, WI. for some apple picking. We usually go to Edwards Orchard in Poplar Grove, IL. but they were out of the apples I like to use by the time we were able to go. So K took the day off of work and we had a field trip up to WI for some fun!
We had quite the loot. 2 busshels full of apples, 3 gallons of cider, 1 dozon cider donuts and a bottle of Pumpkin Wine. :) It was a great day! After the orchard we headed to Lake Geneva for some Friday Fish Fry. We watched the sunset on the lake while eating ice cream at the pier. Just a wonderful family day all around!
