I celebrated my 31st birthday on Jan 26th. It is still weird to me that I could be in my 30's.  I thought I would feel grown up...... Ha!  :)

The Cellar Bistro

K took a half-day from work so we could spend some time together.  (He has school on Thursday nights)  So he planned a Lunch at The Cellar Bistro.  It had very good food and nice atmosphere.  Afterwards we went to the Caribou near by to have Dessert....  :)  The kids sang Happy Birthday to me over my coffee.  :)
~It was a wonderful day with the people I love most!  Oh & see the earrings I have on in the picture above?  Those were my gifts.  ♥ I am very blessed.  ~

A New Year

It's a New Year, time for a fresh start!  The end of this past year we had a lot of ups and downs.  Deaths in the family, sickness, surgeries of loved ones.  I am starting my 31st year.  And the past 20 years I have made a lot of really bad decisions.  Well this year it is time for us to change that!  This year we are going to live simpler, pray more, give more, seek HIM! We are getting healthy from the inside out.  Spiritualy healthy as well as physically healthy!

We decorated pretty simply this year!  It was a strange feeling Christmas season as we didn't have any snow pretty much the whole month of December!

Christmas Happenings...

To kick off the Christmas season every year our library has a Christmas Party/Tree lighting ceremony. A's Cub Scout Pack decorated a tree this year:

K's bday

K"s 33rd was on Dec 14th and I made homemade neckbone gravy and pasta for dinner and then I semi-homemade a White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for Dessert. 

A splended evening spent at home just the 4 of us!  ♥












On the Saturday the 10th M had a b-day party to go to so A and I took K out to Taco Patio for lunch.  He was very happy to get his Burrito!  Then that evening we went to the Zoo lights.
